Summary of Position

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine, Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA is currently seeking qualified applicants who are fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine and have an interest in aligning with a nationally recognized and growing Department. The new faculty member will be expected to make clinical, academic and research contributions to the department.

    • Each location is staffed by a team of board-certified orthopaedic surgeons and physicians, licensed physical therapists, and certified athletic trainers. Radiology services are available at all our sites.
  • The Sports Medicine Division has an established athletic trainer outreach program, with ATC’s embedded in high schools throughout the area

Candidate Qualifications

  • BE/BC in Orthopaedic Surgery,
  • trained in an ACGME accredited fellowship program
  • possess the credentials for a faculty appointment at a minimum level of Assistant Professor.
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to employment
