Summary of Position

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University is seeking a full-time Academic Physiatrist with board certification in Brain Injury or Neuromuscular Medicine The successful candidate will be providing inpatient consultation services with time available for outpatient evaluation and treatment services.  The Physiatrist will work with an interdisciplinary team and have interest provide care related to brain injury, stroke, or spinal cord injury.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
  • Successful completion of residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from ACGME-accredited program prior to the start date
  • Board certification in Physician Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Board certification in Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, or Neuromuscular Medicine is desirable but not required.
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license and DEA from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to employment.
