Full-Time/Part-Time/Per Diem
Temple University Hospital is a leading healthcare provider recognized for excellence in patient care, cutting-edge research, and innovation. Our state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is equipped to manage complex and critically ill patients with a multidisciplinary approach and 24/7 support.
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ICU Intensivist to join our dynamic critical care team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients, lead multidisciplinary rounds, and collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care for critically ill patients in the ICU within the Health System.
• Lead daily rounds and coordinate multidisciplinary care plans
• Perform advanced procedures (e.g., central lines, intubation, thoracentesis, etc.)
• Manage ventilators and other life-support systems
• Participate in teaching and supervision of residents, fellows, or medical students (if applicable)
• Ensure compliance with evidence-based protocols and hospital policies
Qualifications:
• MD/DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Critical Care Medicine
• Unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain
• Pennsylvania DEA
• Fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine required
• Excellent clinical, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, team-oriented environment
Preferred Experience:
• Experience with EMR – EPIC system
