The electrophysiologists at Temple have decades of experience diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders. We perform routine and complex electrophysiology procedures with the help of some of the newest technologies, often improving the quality of life for patients and reducing their risk of heart failure, stroke, or other serious issues. With one of the largest electrophysiology (EP) facilities in Pennsylvania, our EP specialists can perform sophisticated procedures and studies, including cardiac electrical mapping, 3D diagnostics, intracardiac echocardiography, tilt table testing, and wireless monitoring, to help diagnose elusive, rare, or complex arrhythmias. We then offer a variety of therapies, from counseling and medication management to interventional procedures, to help patients manage these disorders. Temple’s electrophysiologists participate in multi-center clinical trials and constantly investigate new technology and treatment options to ensure we stay on the leading edge of treatment and diagnosis. We also collaborate with our cardiovascular surgery colleagues on advanced procedures like MAZE for complex arrhythmias.
