The Department of Radiology at Temple is an exciting place to learn and work. With over 45 radiologists covering all subspecialties, we provide cutting-edge clinical services. Our department fosters dynamic learning environments for our 24 diagnostic radiology residents (6 per year) and hosts 12-15 medical students on radiology rotations monthly.
Radiologists in the Temple University Health System serve patients across multiple hospitals totaling over 800 beds. Temple University Hospital (TUH) is the largest and primary teaching hospital in our system. Fox Chase Cancer Center, a free-standing, NCI-designated and nationally ranked cancer center, and TUH – Jeanes Campus are co-located north of TUH. TUH – Northeastern Campus and TUH – Episcopal Campus, located east of our main campus, provide services to their respective neighborhoods. Together, Temple Health conducts over 450,000 radiology exams annually.
