Summary of Position

Located in the heart of a diverse urban area, the Katz School of Medicine is acutely aware of the impact of the national systemic problems related to the lack of health equity and access to affordable, culturally responsive healthcare. In response, Katz works to address issues that promote health equity through education, care delivery, workforce development, and research. The Interventional Radiology Division is an exciting cohesive team that provides state of the art care at a variety of settings, including:

  • Temple University Hospital - a major Level 1 trauma center and vibrant academic urban hospital
  • Fox Chase Cancer Center - a NCI Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and one of US News Top Cancer Centers in the Country
  • Jeanes Hospital - a wonderful local Community Hospital
  • Women & Families - a soon to be new dedicated hospital in Philadelphia.

Our Interventional Radiologists participate in all facets of IR care.

Candidate Qualifications

  • M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
  • Successful completion of residency in Radiology and fellowship in Interventional Radiology from an ACGME-accredited program prior to the start date
  • Board eligibility or certification in Radiology
  • Possess academic credentials for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license & DEA from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to employment
