Summary of Position

The Lemole Center for Integrated Lymphatics and Vascular Research (LCILVR) at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University seeks to recruit a tenure-track faculty scientist at the levels of Assistant or Associate Professor.

 

The Lemole Center for Integrated Lymphatics and Vascular Research was recently established at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University (LKSOM) by a generous gift from Dr. Gerald M. Lemole, with a strong belief that an interdisciplinary research approach, with a particular focus on the lymphatic system, should be a major research effort in modern medicine:

Qualified applicants will have Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degrees, have completed rigorous training and demonstrated the ability to develop an independent, extramurally-funded research laboratory.  The LCILVR supports multidisciplinary research to study a variety of diseases focusing on the Vascular and lymphatic systems and preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated expertise and successful track record in these areas. 

 

Faculty Appointment, Benefits/Compensation

The new faculty member will carry a Tenure Track faculty appointment in LKSOM within the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences. The annual compensation shall be determined based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, a comprehensive suite of benefits includes a generous 403b retirement match, health, dental, vision, life, malpractice, and tuition remission.
