Summary of Position

Temple Health is actively recruiting general neurologists to join our expanding team.  Choose which practice structure best suits your professional goals and lifestyle – outpatient, neurohospitalist only or traditional. Multiple positions are available at the Temple Health Science Campus and suburban partner locations.  Candidates with additional training in Vascular Neurology, Headache, and Dementia are also encouraged to reach out.

 

The Neurosciences Center at Temple University Hospital is one of the Philadelphia region's best facilities for the treatment of neurological disorders. The mission-driven culture, state-of-the-art diagnostic center, clinical trials and basic science/translational research all contribute to a wide range of advanced treatment options for patients.  The incoming neurologist would work closely with a collaborative team that includes other neurologists, neurology trained neuro-critical care providers, vascular neurologists and neurosurgeons, advanced practice nurses, and neurology residents.  To learn more about the neurology program at Temple, Click here.

 

Candidate Qualifications

  • M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent
  • Successful completion of an ACGME accredited residency program in Neurology prior to start date
  • Board certification or eligibility in Neurology
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted DEA and medical license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to start date
  • A strong interest in developing a vibrant clinical practice, medical education and clinical research; and sensitivity to the culture, needs, and aspirations of the community.
