Summary of Position

Temple Health is seeking a highly skilled clinician, specializing in Neuromuscular Medicine to join their expanding team.


The successful candidate will see patients at the Temple Health Science Campus as well as their suburban partner locations. They will provide inpatient and outpatient clinical services within the Department of Neurology, with a focus on neuromuscular medicine; and supervision within the resident clinic.


The Neurosciences Center at Temple University Hospital is one of the Philadelphia region's best facilities for the treatment of neurological disorders. The mission-driven culture, state-of-the-art diagnostic center, clinical trials and basic science/translational research all contribute to a wide range of advanced treatment options for patients.  The incoming neurologist would work closely with a collaborative team that includes other neurologists, neurology trained neuro-critical care providers, vascular neurologists and neurosurgeons, advanced practice nurses, and neurology residents.  To learn more about the neurology program at Temple, Click here.

Candidate Qualifications

  • D., D.O. or foreign equivalent
  • Successful completion of ACGME accredited neurology residency and neuromuscular fellowship programs prior to start date
  • Board certification in Neurology; and board certification/eligibility in Neuromuscular Medicine
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted DEA and medical license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to start date
  • Academic credentials for a faculty appointment in the rank of Assistant Professor or above
  • A committed to supporting and promulgating diversity among faculty, staff, students and patients
