Summary of Position

Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist/Faculty – Part time, No Weekends, No Call

 

The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Science at Temple Health is recruiting a board-certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for a part-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. The clinical duties of the position will include direct and indirect supervision of resident outpatient care of children and adolescents. The faculty member will be expected, in collaboration with our existing Child and Adolescent Psychiatry faculty, to provide teaching and education on topics related to Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to resident physicians. Our 20 departmental faculty members look forward to peer supervision and academic collaboration. Support for professional development and scholarly productivity is available.

The schedule will be 8 – 10 hours per week, no weekends, and no call. Primary practice site will be at THUS-Episcopal campus.

 

Applicants must possess the following: MD or DO with ACGME-accredited child & adolescent fellowship training, 2 – 3 years post training experience treating patients diagnosed with ADD, Depression and Anxiety, academic credentials that will qualify for a faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor; and eligibility to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
