The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, Department of Ophthalmology is seeking highly skilled, fellowship trained, and academically oriented candidates for a full time Glaucoma faculty position.

The Department of Ophthalmology is currently made up of five full-time clinical faculty whose interests include: Glaucoma, Retina, Oculoplastics, Comprehensive and Cornea, as well as 3 Optometrists, 9 residents, administrative staff and multiple technicians. This dynamic and growing team of dedicated faculty, residents and staff, includes two glaucoma specialist, providing plenty of support, collegiality, and mentorship opportunities. The Selected candidate will be a key contributor to the continued development of the program moving forward, and must have a strong commitment to excellence in resident education, patient care and investigational research.

Job Qualifications:

• MD, DO or foreign equivalent;
• BC/BE in Ophthalmology 
• Fellowship trained in Glaucoma 
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Credentials for a faculty appointment at the minimum level of Assistant Professor.
• Active participant in national organizations and committees such as American Academy of Ophthalmology.
